Primal Powerhouse Font

Designers Note

Introducing... Primal Powerhouse!

An outlined, all-caps, animated font based on the colorful Powerhouse era bumpers from Cartoon Network used between 1998 and 2004. The era was named after Raymond Scott's 1937 instrumental music which was notably played on several Looney Tunes shorts during the time.

The name "Primal" is a homage to Primal Screen, a studio from Atlanta, GA, who were known for animating commercials for kids channels such as Cartoon Network and Boomerang. After almost 30 years of existence, they officially ceased operations on May 2024.

And now without further ado, the font is globally free. Thanks for downloading it and have fun!
